“Princess, princess, you are very beautiful, help all your friends” Announced the French credits of this anime, whose protagonist opposes the worst tests that life has prepared him. Directed by Fumio Kurokawa, it is based on a novel little Princess By Francis Hodgson Burnett, published 1888.
Princess Sarah tells Sarah Crew about a difficult childhood. Growing up in a very affluent environment, his father had to leave London for work and leave him at his Mangin boarding house. When the father dies, the little girl loses her benefits and begins to be mistreated. Fortunately, his kindness and his legendary courage do not force him to give up.
But even though many fans of the series have seen the episodes uniquely, few if any have managed all 46 episodes or seen them in order. Here’s what happens to them at the bottom, called Goodbye Sarah:
We are on the eve of Christmas. The young girls prepare the scenery, while Miss Gertrude Mangin is depressed over the recent departure of Sarah, who has become a wealthy heir and now lives with some of Mr. Crisford.
Crisford returned from India, where he worked with Sarah’s father to exploit one of the largest gems in the country. She decided to find him to give him her inheritance and also wants him to inherit her shares because she is childless (see episode 43, Chemata Miss Mangin).

Sarah finds her friends
Suddenly a bell rings in the boarding house (“College” in VF). Sarah Crowe arrives with two lawyers. Miss Mangin fears she wants to buy his facility. But the little girl offers him something completely different: she wants to donate 000 100,000 to college, in exchange for which Beck asks her to go with him and become his maid.
However, Sarah, even if she no longer lives there, will continue her studies at Miss Mangin College. Everyone is happy with this good news, except for Lavinia, of course, the plague that has seen all the colors in Sarah’s presence. However, Lavinia takes a step towards Sara and takes away the symbolic calm. He later said he was going to the United States, possibly to “marry the president.”

Lavigna takes over
Sarah offers her friends a beautiful cake, then discovers her horse Jump and her parrot Bonaparte. He meets Peter Fireplace Cleaner, then Anna, a little street girl he met in the first episode and who now works with a baker who was helping Sarah (again, in the first episode). Thanks to an orphan donated by Sarah, the bakery feeds street children.
After all, Sarah has to travel to India to settle the formality of the will and pray at her parents’s grave. He will not be there for three months and will take Beck with him. After saying goodbye to his boarding school friends, he leaves London with a heavy heart.

Sarah greets friends and loyal viewers
Several French children have fled to Princess Sarah since the series aired on March 1, 1987 on La Cinq, then on TF1 at Le Club Dorothée in 1994, and on France 3 at Les Minikeums in 1996. A year later, it was on Mangas. Broadcast like France 5 in the early 2000s. It is currently available on Netflix.
