‘The Flight Attendant’: who is Cassie’s double?

The second season of ‘The Flight Attendant’ is revolving around a mystery still unsolved: who is the double of Cassie Bowden? Someone is impersonating the protagonist played by Kaley Cuoco disguised in a blonde wig and a replica of her tattoo on her back. And not only that: using her missing belongings and her bank accounts, the mysterious impersonator is making Cassie the prime suspect in a series of murders and crimes. The identity of this person is still unknown, but there are some candidates.

The new episodes of the HBO Max series showed us that Cassie has almost completely changed her life: She’s moved from New York to Los Angeles, she’s been sober for a year, she religiously attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, she’s in a steady relationship with a handsome photographer, she’s still working as an airline stewardess, and she’s also doing spy work for the CIA… Cassie seems to have it all under control, until she doesn’t anymore. And the person who lights the fuse is precisely that double who seems to be traveling around the world leaving a trail of corpses in her wake and who seems determined to ruin the life of the protagonist. She gets it: in the fifth episode of the season, Cassie is unable to deal with this spiral of problems and anxieties and relapses into drinking. Grace St James

One of the new signings of the second season of ‘The Flight Attendant’ is Mae Martin, who plays flight attendant Grace St. James. Of course, each passing episode seems more and more suspicious: Dot Karlson, played by Cheryl Hines, is the head of the CIA that Cassie meets in her meetings with Benjamin (Mo McRae) after becoming a civilian collaborator with the agency. At first she seems very supportive of Cassie, defending her abilities as a spy and informer, and betting on her continuing in the institution despite the mistakes made in the Berlin incident. Now, in hindsight, what kind of CIA chief would be completely okay with putting Cassie in the line of fire? Is it one of the eccentricities of the HBO Max series or a huge red flag What tells us that he has hidden intentions?

In reality, they wanted to contact Cassie to find her home in Los Angeles, where they briefly kidnapped Ani and Max to tell them what they wanted to know: Megan’s location, which is hidden because the North Korean government has put a hefty price on her head. No, Gabrielle has nothing to do with Cassie’s doppelganger, she was just passing by looking for the reward. The series does a good job of making her a suspect: we see her dying her hair blonde, she has a complexion similar to Cassie’s… Still, we can almost 100% cross her off her list.

Cassie’s mother

After five episodes, the great signing of the second season of ‘The Flight Attendant’ still shows no signs of life: Sharon Stone joined the cast to play Lisa Bowden, Cassie’s mother..
