Oscar 2023 brings together classic looks and timeless trends


Without going red for the first time in decades, the 2023 Oscar carpet reaffirmed the power of the classic, but highlighted the extravagant imagery

.Last Sunday, March 12, the main film awards of the world took place, the oscar 2023! And of course, in addition to the screen icons, the big night was also responsible for bringing together major productions.




This year the award had something new: a new color for the carpet, different from the traditional red. To receive the celebrities, they made a champagne-colored catwalk, a new color since 1961. According to Lisa Love and Raul Àvila, collaborators of the Oscar, the tone is more harmonious with the time of the awards, giving even more prominence to the looks.

On the champagne carpet, therefore, the visuals were the most diverse, but with one feature that distinguished this year: the classic. Unlike other years and this season’s awards, the Oscars 2023 elegant pieces brought together following a sophisticated proposal without taking too much risk. Straighter silhouettes, then, bombed there.

But don’t think that the trends are behind! Instead, they were there, from sheer inserts to cutouts to plunging necklines and, of course, shimmers.
