Google Trends has a new homepage with updated visuals from Material 3, bringing the service in line with other apps on the Web Giant
Google Trends has undergone a visual makeover to make it easier to use and add extra features. The goal is to resume the design language of Material 3, already present in other solutions Googleto monitor the progress of the search.

From now on you can view the main topics of the moment without having to click anything. The home page shows the trending topics in searches in Brazil over the last 24 hours. These topics are updated every hour to make sure you always have the latest trends.

The hamburger menu in the upper left corner features pill-shaped buttons to guide you to the desired location: Home, Explore, Current Trends, and Searches by Year. These three options can also be accessed via the tabs at the top of the page, which provides greater versatility for the user.
Cards in the Explore and Trends tabs now have rounded corners, as well as light blue pills and background. You can change your preferred language at the bottom of the site or change your search region at the top. You can also subscribe and get notified about hot topics, get help, or send feedback to Google.
How to use the new look of Google Trends
Trends also provides links to relevant news articles to supplement user knowledge. If you need something more global, you can search for current deals in a particular region or globally.

Whoever clicks on the Explore button will have access to graphs of interest, numbers and percentages on the desired topic. This is a great tool for content creators, who will be able to invest in more regionalized productions.
The tool shows some examples of practical use by newsrooms, charities and other interested parties. For now, this area called “Creating with Trends” features the majority of material in English, but more regionalized content is likely to start emerging.
Also new to Google Trends’ revamped look are tutorials, which teach you how the tool works. Anyone who is a layman will be able to learn how to use it, correctly interpret the data and have access to advanced features.
With the arrival of Material 3 on Google Trends, the company appears to be close to completing the redesign of all Workspace tools. Guide, documentsSheets and Slides have already been seen with the new design, as well as Search Console and the gmail. The initiative brings the look and feel of desktop services closer to those used on Android, making the visual identity more unified.
