Raphael makes a macabre discovery

During the interrogation, Bruno Paoletti admits that he flirted heavily with Sarah while she was with the spoon. But he denies that he went to her house afterwards. When Lisa questions him about the bruises, Bruno assures us that he doesn’t remember what happened to him. He was completely drunk and woke up lying on a chair, in pain all over. He then admits he has a drinking problem, but swears he’s not a psychopath.

Raffaele, for his part, does not understand why his offices have become the target of a thief. Nothing is stolen and the lawyer has checked everything: nothing is missing from his files, not even the most sensitive ones. He explains to Gabriel that the police think the thief was looking for money. But as Gabriel points out, if that was the case, he would still have stolen the computer. Raphael assumes that he surprised the thug before he acted on time, and wonders what might have happened if he came face-to-face with him. Gabrielle tries to calm her down. With the new lock installed, it is no longer at risk.

Interrogated by Martin, Julie confirms her father’s statements. Bruno was very drunk and could not remember how he hurt himself. However, he refuses to believe that he was able to break into people’s homes to attack a child. Lisa then informs Martin that a search of Paoletti’s house turned up nothing. They did not find gloves, grass or baton. But until he has an alibi, Bruno will have to remain in custody.

Julie then joins Nathan outside the school and scolds him for telling their father to the police. She thinks that Bruno could never do what he is accused of, but Nathan replies that he knows best what their father is capable of. He admits to his sister that he has been looking for an excuse from his father for a long time, but this did not stop Bruno from hitting him several times and throwing him out. Julie can’t believe it. He had no doubt that Bruno could lay a hand on him.

A young man who witnessed their heated conversation comes in to make sure everything is okay and Nathan tells him to mind his own business. François arrives at the same time and adjusts the frames without waiting for Nathan. That man is Benoît Letelier (played by Jean-Baptiste Maunier), the new substitute teacher at SVT by Agnes Varda. So François asks Nathan to apologize, and then apologizes to Benoit for this somewhat special greeting.

Bruno Paoletti was cleared and released thanks to CCTV footage of him hitting himself and then lying on a chair just before 5pm after the incident. Julie comes to meet him and asks him to solve his drinking problem as soon as possible.

Without a suspect, the police investigation is deadlocked. Constant and his men do not know the motive of the person who broke into Sarah’s house. And Martin doesn’t believe the home abduction theory or the child abductor theory.

At the end of the day, Raphael is worried. He has been waiting for the customer for almost an hour and has heard nothing from him. This delay is not like him. To calm down, he decides to go home, but when he knocks on the door, no one answers. Seeing that certain rooms in the house are lit, Raphael enters through the French window that was left open and makes a macabre discovery: the lifeless bodies of Corinne Chassan and his wife in the living room. They are sitting on the sofa as if they are sleeping, the bear is resting on them.

Soizic is determined to win back his ex

Victoire is in the loop about Aaron Leclercq, the new doctor of Saint-Clair. He tells Noor that he asked and is free as air. The young nurse then points out to him that she has heard of the man for the first time since Samuel left. And indeed, Victoire admits that she felt that way when she saw Aaron. As if he finally had the right to think about something else.

At the hospital, Soizic amuses Victoria by teasing her about Aaron. She notes to him that she is particularly elegant today and tries to say that it is to charm Dr. Leclerc. Victoire claims she just wanted to be helpful and show up at the hospital. To his anger, Soizic tells him that it’s for the same reason he pulled the phone number a few days ago.

Meanwhile, William and Aaron have a discussion. They decide to clean up the past and find a more peaceful way to function, in their own best interest and that of their patients.

Later, while she is checking on patients with William, Victoire sees Soizic talking to Aaron. Noticing that his “rival” is watching them, Soizic bursts into laughter and tactfully engages the new doctor. Victoire struggles to hide her jealousy, which does not escape William.

But when talking to Soizic, William realizes that he is just trying to annoy Victoria by making her think that Aaron is interested. In fact, Soizic has nothing to do with Dr. Leclerc. He just wants Francoise back.

Jordan is living a difficult day

Invited to a formal luncheon at the Delcourts, Jordan is unpleasantly surprised to find that Alex and Chloe have prepared for him calamari – Alex’s special occasion specialty – and octopus salad. However, Jordan hates squid like an octopus. But he dare not say anything to Judith and her parents.

However, Judith notices that her boyfriend is hesitant, so Jordan forces himself to swallow a bite of squid. But he soon runs into the garden and vomits into the pond.

Back at the table, Jordan is forced to admit that he doesn’t like squid. He didn’t want to appear rude and didn’t dare to say anything. The bad surprises don’t end there, however, for Russell’s son, who learns that Chloe has burned the apple pie planned for dessert and Judith has made rice pudding instead. He then pretends to still be soaking the octopus to prevent him from eating too much.

After lunch, Jordan admits to Judith that he hasn’t told her because he’s always afraid she’ll find out he’s not good enough for her. A cheerful Judith comforts him. He would never think of such a thing. And neither did his parents. Jordan then takes the opportunity to admit that he also hates rice pudding.
