Warning, spoilers. It is recommended that you watch The Last of Us Episode 9 before you continue reading this article.
The first season of The Last of Us concluded with its ninth and final episode, “Look for the Light,” available on Prime Video. This final chapter marks the end of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie’s (Bella Ramsey) journey, which brought them to the fireflies’ lair in Salt Lake City.
After a dangerous crossing of the United States, which is ravaged by an epidemic caused by the fungus Cordyceps, Joel and Ellie come a long way to forming an almost filial relationship. But it’s time to part ways, as the Fireflies, led by Marlene (Merle Dandridge), are about to operate on Ellis, who is miraculously immune – a condition explained in the episode – and which could be the key to a vaccine against the infection. to Cordyceps.
Only then, his operation would also mean his death. A goal that Joel, who sees in her his lost daughter, cannot solve it. He then kills all the fireflies and takes Marlene and Ellie out of the lair. Together, they head to Jackson to find Tom (Gabriel Luna), Joel’s brother.
The Last of Us divides fans
The latest episode of The Last of Us ends with Ellie and Joel having a conversation, with the latter lying to her about what happened in the Fireflies’ lair, claiming that the group refused to find a cure. Although he is hesitant, Ellie chooses to believe him.
It is on this tragic and disturbing note that the first season of The Last of Us, the adaptation of the famous video game series, ends. And viewers, whether they’ve played the game or not, have something to say about this finale, but also about the series. If the last episode broke more than one – especially with Joel’s tragic choice, the series is divided.
Some feel that there are not enough infected, others feel that the series lacks episodes and its pace is too fast. Others champion the treatment of The Last of Us and consider it to be the best video game adaptation ever.
I have a lack of interest, but I watched The last of us series and was not impressed. It was hot in my opinion

Visually The Last Of Us is 18/20, but the series itself is no longer 13/20. I don’t talk about it anymore, otherwise it will annoy me.

Well, The Last of Us is a 5/10, no more. Big problems with rhymes. 9 (a good episode) is an example with the impression of being rushed, as if the time lost in the other episodes (6 or the ones that make up the “spin-off”) need to be made up.

The Last Of Us HBO: 5.5/10
Best Episode: Episode 1 (9.5/10)
Worst Episode: Episode 7 (2/10)There are qualities, but the series does not live up to its ambitions and offers the bare minimum (the final episode is a perfect example)
A dangerous choice, a shameful atmosphere –— TG (@TellGate___) March 13, 2023
Great last episode of The Last of Us, one of the best with 5!
But overall this first season is just fleeting if we burn games. Too many rushed/cut scenes, almost no Infect and the biggest mistake is probably episode 3… https://t.co/ChFeV7G2q6 pic.twitter.com/YLLHWIy3dU

Master class.
I saw the last episode of last of us and so I finished tlou season 1.
It was really great to have video game adaptations with actors on top. The sad and writing game was conveyed very well.
Maybe a few zombies were missing…

The season finale of The Last of Us captures well the moral dilemma Joel faces, saving Ellie or a world without Ellie. Various additions are correct. in my heart forever pic.twitter.com/ZOokcx10U8

I was insulted by how The Last Of Us ticked me off so much that even if I knew it to the end, I would still cry at the end of the last episode of the series.
The rise of Gustavo Santaolala’s guitar, the dialogue between Eli and Joel, everything is still incredible. pic.twitter.com/MZC99rE9iR

The finale of The Last of Us, what can I say that when you know the game, it is very painful to see Joel’s choices and especially the consequences that will come to him in the future, I do not want to revisit the suffering that I could. Has The Last of Us Part II… I really don’t expect it.
