Teased in May 2021 during a very short video and already used in a special hotel Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, this fascinating derivative product is not yet available for sale to individuals and its price has not been disclosed. There’s no doubt that once it’s officially launched, it should attract fans and budding Jedi alike.

As for how this famous lightsaber works – as the toy’s patents already indicate in 2021 – it will be a special effects device designed to create the illusion of an energy sword. Thus, the object consists of cylinders that open the plastic blade, coils and a motor, as well as a light source to illuminate the sword.
Specifically, once the saber is activated, the plastic blade detaches vertically from its spool, a bit like a retractable tape ruler, but much more sophisticated. Add to that light and sound and the effect is guaranteed!
