With Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, audiences around the world really knew and loved Miles Morales, the Afro-Latino Spider-Man who was a hit in the comics, when he made his big screen debut. But with Peter Parker dominating live-action films based on the character, Miles has yet to appear onscreen. How long did Sony and the MCU wait before choosing to introduce Miles. “It just depends on how old you want Miles to be before he’s ready to do a live-action movie,” Moore explains. “It’s the conundrum whether I end up playing it or not.”

Meanwhile, Spidey producer Amy Pascal plays her cards next to his chest. “[Fans will] we’ll have to wait a few years to see what we do,” he jokes.
