The police are on the trail of a serial killer
The Seth police are dispatched to the crime scene, where Commander Constant interrogates Raphael, who is still in shock. The latter says she was dealing with a rather difficult divorce from Corinne Chassan. Indeed, the latter’s husband abused her because he did not want to end their marriage. Raphael also advised him not to receive it at home, but in a public place. Corinne’s husband therefore had nothing to do at home that evening. The lawyer then wonders if this story has anything to do with the burglary of his office.
The next day, Aaron is outside the hospital with his daughter Shassan, who he operated on after she broke her wrist playing sports. When he wakes up and calls his parents, Aaron, who knows they’ve been killed, is speechless.
During this time, Georges received the first results of the autopsy, which are formal, Serge Chassan did not kill his wife before he killed himself. It wouldn’t be a double suicide either, as the pair were found with fiber marks on their ankles and wrists. Serge and Corinne were probably tied up before the murder, so it’s premeditated murder. In the absence of an invasion, Martin relates the invasion at Timmins-Reynaud. If these two cases are connected, Sarah and Roxanne are in serious danger.
At the police station, Georges had the Shasania couple’s locks done, and Sarah and Roxanne were analyzed. Since they were opened using a locksmith’s umbrella, the same person must have entered the two houses. Without waiting, Commander Constant warns Sarah and Roxanne, then decides to put them under surveillance so they don’t take any chances.
Meanwhile, Benoit is reading a newspaper in the school’s staff room and comes across an article about the assassination of the Shasanis. A little later, he discusses this terrible case with François and a little six-year-old girl who will have to grow up without her parents. Also an opportunity to tell François that he grew up without a father.
In the afternoon, Martin goes to the Shasans’ house. Indeed, scientific police found broken branches and a place that had been trampled several times, as if someone had put their head down to spy on the couple. How to imagine a methodical killer who took the time to prepare his strike well. However, Martin still does not understand the motive of the crime.
At the end of the day, Amelie joins Adam reading an article about the assassination of the Shassanids. Shocked by this news, Amelie confides that she was four years old when she lost her parents in a car accident.
A few kilometers away, Lisa works at the police station. When Commander Constant informs her of the double murder, Lisa becomes enraged before declaring that they are dealing with a serial killer. And if he knows, it’s because he’s the one who killed his parents…
Etienne hears good news
Dorian and Benedict were called to the police station because Martin wanted to know if they had already met Alexis Langlois. They then explain that Alexis came to their house before the robbery. If Benedict remembers that he met the day Dorian was released from police custody, the teenager in turn indicates that he had a fight before the jewelry store robbery. Although things are overwhelming her husband, Bénédicte assures us that Etienne would never have participated in all these robberies if their son’s life was not in danger. Unfortunately, as long as the police don’t have the screwdriver or the video of Alexis blackmailing Etienne, there’s nothing Commander Constant can do.
Later, Dorian goes to high school. And how much to say that the teenager has the impression that all his comrades look at him strangely. Camille tries to calm her down, but to no avail. While walking in the yard, Ryan provokes her by talking about her father. The fallout is too much for Dorian, which leads to a fight, prompting Chloe to intervene. After calling Ryan into his office at the end of the day, Principal asks Dorian to keep him in the future.
In turn, Benedikte visited her husband. Seeing that she feels guilty, he affirms that neither she nor Dorian want her. He then reassures her that he is an amazing father and husband. Convinced that Raphael will fight to get him out of prison as soon as possible, Benedict urges him not to lose hope.
At the police station, Nordin informs Martin that the key found in Alex’s belongings matched the station locker. Inside was the famous screwdriver, as well as a USB key with a video of Dorian on it. Enough of Alex’s angle, which he can no longer deny.
Afterwards, Raphael reveals to Étienne that Alexis Langlois confessed to inserting a screwdriver into Jonas Pages’ body to frame Dorian. Even if Etienne is able to return home for a day or two, he will be on probation pending a trial in which Raphael demands blackmail to avoid going to jail.
Reno gives Mariana a big present
In the hospital, Mariana drinks coffee with her daughter, with Aaron’s eyes. An attitude that hasn’t escaped Chloe, who is amused by her coldness.
At the same time, Reno goes to the farm and talks to Alex about his worries about Mariana. Indeed, the doctor is afraid that his wife will discover a little scheme and eventually get bored. Reno, who wants to keep the fire going, has an idea, but he needs Alex’s negotiating skills to do it.
A few hours later, Renault offers Mariana a beautiful vintage car. A craze that pleases Dr. Delcourt greatly. Without a word, Mariana gets behind the wheel of her new car, then takes Renault for a short drive.
Later, Nordin stops Mariana for driving over 70 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. Therefore, he receives a penalty and points deduction.
Back at the hospital, Marian received Sebastian in her office. His blood pressure is good and his blood work is excellent. For his part, Sebastien is not really surprised because he has resumed the sport. During the conversation, Sebastien tells her that she’s cute, which doesn’t bother Dr. Delcourt. As he leaves the office, telling her he was excited to see her again, Mariana tries to wipe off her smile.
