Thursday March 16 Tomorrow belongs to us…
Lisa returns to her past
At the police station, Lisa confides in Martin about her parents’ murder. A story that grabbed headlines. The killer, nicknamed “The Monster of Argentail”, placed the bodies of the Hassan couple on the couch. Their faces were very close, as if they were about to kiss. When Lisa saw photos of the Shasani couple in the same pose, she realized that the killer had started over.
However, Martin wants to avoid jumping to conclusions, especially since there are differences between the two cases because, unlike the Shassans, the Hassans died with a bullet to the head. However, Lisa is well aware that the killer can change his mode. With the killer placing a security blanket over Shassan’s body as it had been with her parents, Lisa is convinced that the one they are looking for is none other than “Argeneille’s monster”. Realizing disturbing similarities, Martin finally decides to inform his teams and recover all the files from that time. Before arriving at work, Lisa warns him, however, that his little sister doesn’t know about the story and urges him to keep it a secret to protect her. Martin assures us that he can count on him.
Without waiting, Lisa relays the first reports of the assassination of the Chassanids to Commander Constant. Shortly before 5pm on Monday, Corinne Chassan’s neighbor saw her walking home. According to Fadette, Corinne texted her husband at 5:09 p.m. asking him to come home. A fact confirmed by Serge’s boss, as the latter had asked him to leave earlier that day. Therefore, Serge returned home at around 17:30. Corinne, on the other hand, did not show up for appointments with the lawyer and stopped answering his phone calls, as did her husband. An autopsy has yet to confirm, but they would have been dead at 6 p.m. Since Corinne had no reason to take her husband, the police concluded that the SMS was a trap.
At the same time, Georges received the Argentail dossier and informed his colleagues. Between 2008 and 2012, three unsolved murders occurred in and around Argentale. More specifically, the double murders of couples with children, including Lisa’s parents. And that’s not all. Two more murders took place in Nantes between 2013 and 2018. With the Shassans, that’s six murders spread over fifteen years. According to a profile report at the time, the killer was a young man in his thirties who had suffered a childhood trauma that made him the target of conflicted couples. From now on, investigators are convinced that the “Monster of Argentuel” has indeed started killing again.
In the afternoon, Martin summons Lisa to avoid the investigation. Angry, the latter begs him not to do this. Indeed, he is convinced that he is the only one who can do things because he knows this file by heart. Unfortunately, Commander Constant’s decision has been made. However, he promises to keep her informed of progress.
Martin then meets Raffaele to tell him that his office has been robbed by a lover. According to him, the theft has nothing to do with the “Shasan” case. Moreover, he takes the opportunity to tell her that the Shasanian girl will be taken care of by ASE and then she will go live with her aunt.
Back at the police station, Martin learns that the coroner has just finished his report on the Shasanis. What he was initially concerned about were the raised, circular bruises on the scalps of two of the victims, caused by gunshot wounds. In other words, it’s a cattle prod that sends a steel bullet into the pit of the brain.
Later, Victoire notices that her cousin is not well. With tears in her eyes, Lisa tells the whole story. Victoire, unaware of the true circumstances of her uncle’s and aunt’s deaths, reassures Lisa and confirms that she did what was necessary to protect Amelie. After a while, the young woman tells him that now is his chance to stop the killer.
In the evening, Bart visits Sara and Roxie. Concerned, he offers to move in with them until this matter is resolved. An offer that Roxanne immediately accepts to calm her down.
At the same time, Victoire helps Lisa put the files on the “Monstre d’Argenteuil” case into the trunk of the car. Someone is watching them in the distance.
Jack and Jay are done
Audrey and Damien went on a romantic vacation to Marrakech. In their absence, the Rusel brothers and sisters took advantage and calmed down, and the apartment stood upright. Jack, whose eyesight is improving, finishes cleaning the apartment when he visits Ryan. Indeed, two teenagers planned a revision. Going to the fridge to eat, Ryan realizes that there is water everywhere because the freezer is broken.
When the adults start cleaning, the situation quickly escalates into a water fight. Especially co-stars, Jack and Ryan are about to kiss when Jordan and Liz come home from high school.
Jack, Jordan and Liz then decide to wait for Damien to get home to do the freezer. If the dishes prepared by the mother do not end up in the garbage, they choose to distribute them to the neighbors. Since there’s still plenty left, Jordan invites Judith to dinner and Jackie offers Ryan to stay. The atmosphere is good at Russell’s, so much so that Jordan and Liz notice that things are going pretty well between their brother and Ryan. Moreover, they even tell themselves that it is designed to last.
Benjamin throws a cold
Alma and Benjamin set a goal of packing at least five boxes a day until they moved. However, Alma has other ideas in her head and tries to charm her companion.
After that, the couple goes back to work. Alma is nostalgic when she sees the box that contained Adrian’s things from when he was a child. So Benjamin questions her about her desire to have another child. If the doctor cares about the matter, it’s really none of Alma’s business. A discussion that is immediately chilling.
After a while, Alma joins Victoire at the spoon and tells her about the discussion she just had with Benjamin. Victoria then confesses to him that this is the reason they broke up. Alma, on the other hand, doesn’t know if she wants another child, especially since Hadrian is tall and suits her like that.
In the afternoon, Alma visits from Jordan, who brings her a farewell meal. A chance for Alma to tell him how much she will miss him.
