Rio Grande do Norte Public Safety Secretary Francisco Araújo said the orders for the criminal actions registered since early Tuesday in the state were motivated by requirements such as televisions and intimate visits for inmates in the penitentiary system. state. Suspected leader of attacks killed by police

José Wilson da Silva Filho, 29, named one of the perpetrators of the attacks in the state, died Wednesday morning after a clash with police in João Pessoa.

In a note, the Civil Police reported that the criminal had escaped from the prison systems of Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte and was hiding in the Paratibe neighborhood in the capital of Paraíba.

The fugitive was found thanks to an anonymous tip. At the scene, José Wilson exchanged fire with police and was shot. Although he was taken to hospital, he succumbed to his injuries and died this morning.
