American singer Billy Eilish tried herself as an actress in the new series “Roy” (in the original – “Swarm”). The pop star played the hypnotherapist of the main character of the show. According to Collider, her character manipulates people into doing dangerous things. The series will premiere on March 17th.

The series became the debut of the performer in the cinema. Previously, Eilish did not participate in film projects in this role. However, she has experience voicing herself in a special episode of the animated series The Simpsons, as well as an Oscar in the Best Song nomination for the film No Time to Die.

The creators of the series will tell the story of a young girl named Dre, played by Dominic Fishback. She is obsessed with the pop star inspired by Beyoncé. This leads the girl to unexpected consequences: depression and violence. It was directed and executive produced by Donald Glover, also known by his stage name Childish Gambino. In addition, he directed the first episode and wrote the music for the show.
