And the actress in question is Shannon Berry, an actress who made her name in The Hunters and Descendants, but is best known for her role as Dot Campbell in The Wilds on Prime Video.
Fans have been thinking about this 23-year-old Australian actor because he has a similar look to Abby and he basically has the muscular build of a video game character. Some enthusiasts have already made comparison videos between Abby and Shannon Berry in The Wilds.
Especially since by looking a little more into the actor’s old tweets, fans found one of his posts in which he already mentioned the character of Bi in 2020, during the game. The Last of Us: Part II is outside “Well, I’ve seen a lot of people say that I look like Abby in The Last of Us, and wow, they’re quite right.”.
And what tipped them off was that Neil Druckman, the creator of the video game and co-showrunner of the series, followed the actress on Instagram! It was enough for fans to panic and think that Shannon Berry had been cast for the role of Bi.
Obviously, no information has been confirmed by HBO or the creators of the series to date. Especially since other names such as Cathy O’Brian (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), Florence Pugh, Erin Kellyman (Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Amber Midthunder or Ronda Rousey have also spread on the networks.
