Paramount+ has announced the arrival of a new subscription plan for Brazilian customers: the cheapest category allows access to movies, series and sports games offered by the streaming service for mobile device users.
Costing BRL 14.90, which is BRL 5 less than the Standard plan (BRL 19.90), the Basic plan allows access only via mobile phones or tablets, i.e. no computer or TV. For those who only access the service from a smartphone, it might be worth it.
With this, Paramount+ will offer four possible plans for Brazilians, including monthly and yearly packages. Check it out below:
It’s worth mentioning that the new basic package only allows access to one device at a time. The standard plan allows up to two devices to access the service simultaneously – so for those who share accounts with family and friends, the new plan may not be very beneficial.
The new basic plan will begin rolling out to the Brazilian public on April 18. Until then, the only possible option remains the standard package of R$ 19.90 per month.
Paramount+ will show Libertadores in Brazil
Football fans have a good reason to subscribe to the service: the matches of the Copa Libertadores, the main club tournament in South America, will be broadcast via the streaming service. The Copa Sudamericana, another tournament organized by Conmebol, is also on Paramount+.
