Schematic details iPhone 15 Pro side buttons with the first major change in over 13 years, including the end of the classic mute cursor
A new era for iPhone is about to begin. In a video posted by the user @chenwen1987 in the Douyin (the “Tick tock Chinese”) it is possible to see an updated version of the already leaked diagrams of the iPhone 15 Pro, finally showing the click buttons simulated by vibration with sudden changes.
Most notable are the mute button, which abandons the physical part to become just an immobile button. We also noticed that the volume rocker is now one protruding piece instead of two.




Other images also describe the USB-C connector on the bottom of the device and the design update with rounded corners instead of the completely straight look Apple has adopted since launch. iphone 12 from 2020.
The change will also come to iPhones 15 AND 15 plus as we see below, which will gain the USB-C input to replace Lightning and rounded corners, but will keep the physical buttons instead of the vibration ones, including the already known floating key to activate and deactivate silent mode.


The joint duo, consisting of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, are expected to feature the Apple A16 Bionic chip from the previous year’s premium duo, while the new iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are expected to debut exclusively on A17 Bionic which may not be as powerful as expected.
We also expect less expensive models to continue with the aluminum side finish, while more expensive versions could swap out the expensive stainless steel for the much stronger titanium. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are also expected to achieve the feat of The thinnest bezel display in the world on a smartphone at launch.
