Sports movies often have great motivational messages or talk about friendship, like the 1993 classic “The Sandlot” (“Our Gang” in Spanish) which shows the best summer in the life of a group of kids.
The film follows the boys in the summer of 1962, when they are joined by a new boy. Between their antics, pool time, and hours of baseball, they face their biggest challenge when they lose an autographed Babe Ruth ball.
Directed by David Mickey Evans, “The Sandlot” is a wonderful story of friendship and growth that many people in the 90s loved when they saw it in movies and on television. Today, 30 years after its premiere, we tell you what happened to its cast.
