Netflix: This animated classic will leave the platform for the whole family!

Several iconic movies are leaving Netflix soon, and your whole family is likely to be affected by the wave of departures! The animated classic will no longer be available to the general public on the platform starting March 31.

Starting with Shrek, its sequel Shrek 2, and its spin-off film Shrek Boots. These fairy tale parodies, which see Alain Chabat lend his voice to an ogre as creepy as it is endearing, are nevertheless among Netflix’s most popular shows! Shrek 3 and 4 will be allowed a few days off as they are scheduled to leave the platform on April 11.

Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2 (3 not available) will also disappear from the platform’s catalog at the end of the month. Subscribers to the streaming service will still have the consolation prize of seeing Kung-Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight remain on Netflix.

Adventurers for the whole family will surely regret seeing the feature film Dragons (also among the platform’s most popular programs), which is also leaving the Netflix catalog. It should be noted, however, that his Dragons 2 sequel will not be affected by this wave of departures (the Dragons animated series will also remain on Netflix).

Other iconic productions leaving Netflix on March 31 include Tous en scène, Monsters against Aliens, Bee Movie – Funny Bee, Megamind and Baby Boss!

However, Netflix subscribers will be able to count on the presence of other quality animated films in the platform’s catalog in the coming months, such as The Croosds, Hotel Transylvania trilogy, The Trolls, Madagascar trilogy and Rugrats – the movie.

Let’s not forget the presence of many animated productions from our regions (for example, the twelve labors of Asterix), or from Japan (the complete catalog of Studio Ghibli).
