Fringe, created by Jay Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orch, was a real pleasant surprise when it appeared on the Fox channel in September 2008. For the first time compared to the X-Files, because of the theme of his “paranormal investigations” and his tone, he quickly released himself. Dig your own fur from her model. Here are 5 good reasons to (re) discover it.
1. Because the series is over
Almost ten years have passed and it is time to start. Divided into five seasons, it still has a hundred episodes (it’s rich). But you can still enjoy Fringe completely without waiting for next season.
John Noble and Anna Torvi
2. Fringe has a real ending
Too many network series, especially in the late 2000s and early 2010s, were abruptly canceled without the possibility of making a real conclusion. When Season 5 was confirmed, the authors of Fringe knew they had 13 episodes to finish the series. And they planned a real final ending. How many series still have time today to reach a natural conclusion? Fringe made it and panache.
3. The actors are awesome
John Noble, Anna Thorve and Joshua Jackson have already had good careers before Fringe and only with this series have they proven their great talents. They give depth and emotion to their characters. The father-son relationship between Walter (John Noble) and Peter (Joshua Jackson) is one of the most beautiful that has ever developed on television. As for Anna Torw, she has managed to make Olivia Dunham a character as powerful and amazing as Ellen Ripley’s character in Alien.
4. The story is exciting
Fringe is primarily a science fiction series, but it is the characters and their relationships that give the show its content. The intellect of this drama goes from the writing, to the characters, to the music, to the subtle details on the set. It is encouraging to watch an intellectual TV series without irony and sarcasm. As a bonus, its opening scenes are impressively dazzling.

5. Details are important
You can, if you want to watch Fringe without thinking too much, but the series is a real surprise basket for fans who pay a lot of attention. Every detail counts and connects to something else. Symbols, events, and colors evolve to create repetitive patterns. Warning for Easter egg lovers.
Fringe has been somewhat and unfairly forgotten. Still, it is a series that is entertaining at the same time, with several levels of reading, sometimes unusual, funny and even heartbreaking. Do not miss, you have until May 31st.
