‘The Scott Brothers’: Brooke fans miss love story

If Les Frères Scott has become a cult series for a large number of fans of the series today, it is partly because of its heart stories that marked the nine seasons of this fiction created by Mark Schwan.

Peyton/Lucas/Brooke love triangle, Hayley and Nathan’s teenage love or even the love story between Brooke and Julian are intrigues that made the audience’s heart beat faster.

And if today it’s hard to imagine that the series ended differently, Sophia Bush, Hilary Burton Morgan and Bethany Joy Lenz revealed in their podcast. Drama Queens that Brooke almost had an affair with Cooper, Nathan’s uncle, played by Michael Trucco.

It is in episode 2 of season 19 that Debbie’s brother Cooper Lee’s character is introduced to The Scott Brothers. In seasons 3 and 4, he returns to the series and has an affair with Rachel Gatina (Daniel Ackles), but decides to leave Tree Hill to escape the teenager.

This is in April 2022, episode 219 of the podcast Drama Queens in which he was invited to believe that Michael Trucco had a romantic relationship between his character and Sophia Bush.

“I was playing Battlestar Galactica At the same time Les Frères Scott. I was a recurring character in both series. So I was traveling between the two filming locations. And there was a time when both programs wanted to be at exactly the same time.”

“So I was stuck, and those two series pulled all the stops. Mark Schwann contacted me and said he wanted to bring me on full-time for next season.” he explained before adding “Sofia, they wanted our two characters to meet.”

A love story that Sophia Bush didn’t know about. The two characters were supposed to date after the time jump that takes place between seasons 4 and 5.

“I would love to have my boyfriend as my on-screen boyfriend.“- answered Sofia Bush upon hearing this news. “It would be great. I feel like I’ve been robbed“.

That’s why Michael Trucco chose to prioritize Battlestar Galactica and left his role in The Scott Brothers to stay with his family. However, the story doesn’t say if Brooke and Cooper would actually end up together at the end of The Scott Brothers or if Michael Trucco chose to stay on the show.
