Expected on Netflix next month, the psychological thriller Spiderhead, starring Chris Hemsworth and Miles Teller, will be revealed through an intriguing trailer.
Before wearing the Marvel God of Thunder costume on Thor: Love and Thunder on July 13, Chris Hemsworth will star in a Netflix movie. And no, this is not a sequel to Tyler Reick, but a psychological thriller directed by Joseph Kosinski, the man we owe to Top Gun: Maverick, the release of which is imminent.
The feature film, titled Spiderhead and written by a screenwriting duo behind Deadpool, is revealed in the mode of the first promising action and crazy scientist by Chris Hemsworth, who conducts more and more wandering experiments.
“At the state-of-the-art penitentiary, run by brilliant visionary Steve Abnest (Chris Hemsworth), inmates undergo a surgical device that administers doses of mind-altering drugs in exchange for reduced sentences. There are no bars, no cells, no orange overalls“- It is said in the synopsis, which goes like this:
“Volunteers detained at Spiderhead are free to be themselves. Until they are no more. Sometimes they are a better version. Do you need a vacation? There is a cure for this. You no longer know what to say? There is a cure for that too.
But when two subjects, Jeff (Miles Teller) and Lizzie (Journey Smolett) form a union, the path to their redemption becomes sharper as Abnest’s experiments begin to transcend the boundaries of free will.“
Spiderhead will be available on Netflix from June 17.
