For years now, Succession fans have dreamed of seeing a spin-off about Greg and Tom, an unlikely duo formed by two outsiders who are among patriarch Roy Logan’s allies. And who are the adversaries of his three children Kendall, Roman and Shiv, despite the fact that Tom is married to the latter and that Greg is their cousin.
For its first episode, the fourth (and final) season of Succession once again offered some special anthology moments with the duo, who seem to have earned their nickname. “Depraved Brothers” (“Abominable Brothers” in VO) about their escapades as wealthy New York bachelors.
As often as the nature of Tom’s friendship with Gregg is open to interpretation, the latter seems to have agreed to go out with his patron not only to hide his loneliness (and his imminent divorce from Shiv) but also to satisfy his unhealthy desires. Humiliation and corrupt Greg.
Many Succession fans have been clamoring on social media for a spin-off of the perverted brothers, and who knows, maybe HBO will make this TV dream a reality in the coming years?
