Guardians of the Galaxy 3: The longest running time in this Marvel franchise!

Longer and longer movies? As we wrote, no later than last Friday, the new Nolan, Oppenheimer, XXL had a few months to discuss: Avatar 2, Babylon, or most recently John Wick 4 and its 2h50, here. There is another film that will surpass itself in duration!

We recently learned that the next installment of Guardians of the Galaxy will be the longest in the franchise. James Gunn, who is very present on social media, directly answered a question from a user who was well informed about the longevity of Guardians #3: “James, is it true that Guardians Volume 3 is 2 hours and 29 minutes long?“

Here is his answer:The movie will be about that long, but not exactly. And I promise not a second will be wasted. There is no fat. It was necessary to honor the storylines of each of the Guardians of the Galaxy characters, not only for this film, but for the trilogy (I should say the “extended trilogy”).“

After the first episode, which lasts 2 hrs. And after the 2nd episode, which lasts 2 hrs. At 4 p.m., this third installment will be the longest in the Guardians franchise and the 4th longest in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Remember that Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is out on May 3rd, and the trailer, previewed above, is already available.

Our favorite group of misfits has changed a bit. Peter Quill, still grieving the loss of Gamora, must assemble his team to protect the world and protect himself. If it fails, this mission could spell the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Director James Gunn is set to write and direct Superman: Legacy, slated for 2025, among other things.
