The show was rumored back in March, but you’ll have to wait a little longer to discover the new Walking Dead spin-off! Titled City of the Dead, the series will feature Maggie and Negan in new adventures set on the streets of New York City, where an outbreak of the living dead continues!
We don’t yet know the exact timeline of the Dead City story, except that the series will take place at least a few months after the end of the parent series. The duo formed by Maggie and Negan will not be easy, their alliance weakened by their mutual hatred. Fans of the franchise may be wondering right now about the supposed absence of Hershel, Maggie’s son.
Keep in mind that Dead City won’t be the only The Walking Dead spin-off to see the light of day, as the Daryl Dixon series is currently set to shoot in France in 2023. A mini-series is expected next year. Rick Grimes and Michonne just started filming too!
Expected to premiere on AMC in the United States on June 18, the series Walking Dead: Dead City does not yet have a broadcast in France.
