Extraordinary previews, anticipated European and world productions, short formats from various backgrounds, prestigious guests and organized meetings for fans… the sixth edition of the festival canning factoriesFree and open to all, it promises to be exciting.
Apart from the guests of honor and keynote events, the festival is also a long format and short format competition and award ceremony for the talent of yesterday and today, today and tomorrow, all under the watchful eye of the audience. Camille Shamo is the mistress of ceremonies. The opening ceremony will be broadcast exclusively on CANAL+.
Among the novelties of this 6th edition, we can mention the creation of a section dedicated to documentary series, which has its own competition and its own dedicated jury. Tickets for the festival will open for Cannes residents from March 29 and for others from March 31.

- Awards of Merit
Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Wolf Pack) will receive the CANAL+ Icon Award, and Morfid Clarke (The Lord of the Rings) will receive the Madame Figaro Rising Star Award. In turn, Conbin will present his commitment award to Joey Soloway, to whom we owe Transparent and I Love Dick. CANNESERIES opens once again by offering school sessions for young people, including the session and thematic debate “Justice: between fiction and reality”, a conversation with Mela Bedia, a session dedicated to the Kurtrajme school and its series section and meeting.
