This is how Pedro Pascal reacted to the news that he had been chosen for ‘The Last of Us’

The actor has shared the story of how he found out he had landed the role of Joel: “What’s up? Did I get the job?”

    Pedro Pascal is on the crest of the wave due to the success of ‘The Last of Us’, the serial adaptation of the famous video game. Now, In a recent interview on The Graham Norton Show, Pascal recalled how he found out the role of Joel was his.

    He remembers that the emotions of convincing the directors of the series to give him the role of Joel had him so nervous that decided to take something to fall asleep… until he received the call telling him that he had landed the role.

    “It was late and I had an Ambien,” he says. “At that point I was kind of excited… I was excited. They called me to say that I had got the job, but I had already taken the pill. The truth is that I did not think about it, I thought that at least I would have to wait until the next day.”

    He went on to joke that he was so clueless during the conversation that he even forgot the good news. “And then a couple of minutes passed into the call apparently, and I was like ‘What’s up? Did they give me the job?'” she laughed. “I totally forgot, I woke up in the morning and I was like ‘Oh my God, did I get the job? I’m going to have to wait all day.'”

    In addition to ‘The Last of Us’, Pascal can now be seen currently in the third season of ‘The Mandalorian’in which he plays the titular bounty hunter alongside one of the cutest puppets on the small screen.
