It’s the second-best run on Netflix for a series starting in 2023.

Night Agent is based on the novel of the same name by author Matthew Quirk, about a junior FBI agent who works the night shift in the White House basement, where he operates a hotline for undercover spies that never rings. .

But one day he calls! Which sets off a series of events and reveals a conspiracy that extends all the way to the Oval Office. Night Agent ended its two-week reign as Netflix’s most-watched series worldwide after the airing of Season 4, Episode 2.

Another thing that The Night Agent can count on is that it got the highest number of any new series of 2023 on Netflix. The 90s show had 41 million hours in its first week, Lockwood & Co 25.1 million and the Murdow family documentaries 40 million hours and MH370 59.8 million hours.

The only new series to surpass 100 million hours in its first week is the Kaleidoscope miniseries directed by Giancarlo Esposito.

Night Agent was among the top 10 most-watched series on Netflix in 93 countries between March 20 and 26, and was notably the most-watched series in the United States, the United Kingdom, and France!
