4.4 out of 5! It’s the highest-rated French film since Intouchables and it’s in theaters

After conquering the press, this French film is also seducing the Internet users! Out of 95 ratings – at the time of writing – I’ll Always See Your Face, Jeanne Herr’s new film has a very good audience rating of 4.4 / 5. Led by a four-star cast including Adele Exarchopoulos, Leila Becht, and Gilles Lelouch, I Always See Your Face also has an average press rating of 4.1/5 (out of 32 media), the fifth best film of 2023. Thus it is placed behind the return of the Fabelmanns, all beauty and spilled blood, tar and swallows.

What is it about?

Since 2014, restorative justice in France has offered crime victims and perpetrators the possibility of dialogue in safe systems supervised by professionals and volunteers such as Judith, Fanny or Michel.

Naseem, Isa and Thomas, convicted of violent robbery, Grégoire, Navel and Sabine, victims of housebreaking, robbery and pickpocketing, but also Chloe, victim of incestuous rape, all participate in restorative justice measures.

In their journey there is anger and hope, silence and words, allies and heartache, awareness and self-reliance… and at the end of the road, sometimes, reparation.. .
