Netflix: Plan with ads is now available on Apple TV

Netflix has adjusted its basic plan with ads for Apple TV, the media device from the iPhone maker. Launched late last year, the subscription option didn’t support the device and other devices, like the Chromecast (which apparently remains unavailable).

Also at the portal, Netflix added that plan support has not yet been made available to run on PayStation 3 and the Netflix Windows application.

Netflix’s economic plan arrived in Brazil and other countries in November 2022, with a monthly cost of R$ 18.90 (in Brazil). In addition to it there are also the already known floor plans; Basic (R$25.90/month), Standard (R$39.90/month) and Premium (R$55.90/month).

The cheaper alternative features 15-30 second long ads, shown at the beginning and during the content. The system does not repeat commercials and has a large portion of the Netflix catalog at its disposal – the company announced at launch that initially a limited number of titles would not be available, due to licensing restrictions.
