Two other people were injured
An accident with two fatalities occurred on the Rota do Sol (RSC-453), near the entrance to São Brás, at KM 154, in Caxias do Sul, in the Serra Gaúcha. According to information, a Monza vehicle and a Celta collided head-on. The Monza, with São Marcos license plate, went off the track and ended up in flames, causing the charred deaths of the driver, not yet identified, and of the 35-year-old Celta driver with Caxias do Sul license plate.
Two other people were injured and were passengers in the San Marco car. Both men were sent by Samu for treatment and remain hospitalized in Pompeia.
Traffic was blocked in both directions, diverted from the São Brás side road and released in the early hours of the morning. The event was recorded around 3:30 this Saturday (1) and saw the presence of the State Traffic Police, the Fire Brigade, Samu and the IGP.
