The Town Hall, through the Municipal Department of Urban Mobility and the Public Transport and Circulation Company (EPTC), informs that as of this Monday (3rd), the T5, the T10 – Triângulo / Antônio de Carvalho, the T11 – 3 ° perimeter and T13 – Triângulo/ PUC are now managed by private companies.
“This change that we are promoting is part of the Mais Transporte Program and aims to qualify the service offered to the approximately 25,000 users who use these lines. Just like Carris, especially during the pandemic, which had to take over some private lines, we are now making this temporary adjustment to better serve passengers, due to specific problems we have observed in relation to compliance with some tables”, explains the secretary Municipality of Urban Mobility, Adão de Castro Júnior.
Public transport users can check the location of the buses and check which lines pass at each point, in real time, through the TRI card app. Just select “GPS” to be directed to Cittamobi.

The T10 – Triângulo/ Antônio de Carvalho line will be served by Consórcio Mais (green colour). There are 74 trips, 36 to the North/East and 38 to the East/North)
The T11 – 3rd Perimeter line will be served by the MOB (blue) and Viva Sul (red) consortia. Runs are 186, 92 North/South and 94 South/North.
Line T5 – It will be served by Consórcio Via Leste (green colour). Runs are 112, 56 North/South and 56 South/North.
The T13 – Triângulo/PUC line will be served by the MOB Consortium (blue colour). There are 54 journeys, 27 in the North/East direction and 27 in the East/North direction.
Lines without collector
On Wednesday 29, a resolution will be published in the Official Gazette of Porto Alegre which will authorize the operation of another 37 lines without a collector, preferably on journeys that have up to 12 cash-paying passengers per direction. The authorization has been valid since Thursday 30. As regards the percentage of professionals, the estimated withdrawal is 38% of the staff, with the forecast of reaching 50% by the end of this year.
The provision follows the criterion of choosing the lines that carry fewer passengers per journey. Public transport users can issue their TRI card free of charge, which guarantees fast boarding.
