Captain America 4 is getting ready! The long-awaited Marvel movie is currently filming in Atlanta. Captain America: The New World Order takes place after the events of the Disney+ series Falcon and the Winter Soldier and will focus on the symbolic transfer of the title of Captain America.
The feature film, slated for release on May 1, 2024, is based on a screenplay by Julius Ona, written by Malcolm Spellman, creator of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Dalan Musson, one of the show’s writers.
Currently, all eyes are on the set. HARRISON FORD / THADDEUS “THUNDERBOLT” ROSS

Formerly embodied by William Hart, General Thaddeus E. “Thunderbolt” Ross will return in Captain America 4, this time playing the role of Harrison Ford. An anti-hero in the Marvel Universe, he is the father of Betty Ross and the leader of the project that turned Bruce Banner into the Hulk. Ross pursues the latter with increasing obsession until he becomes the Red Hulk himself to better fight his sworn enemy. Harrison Ford will also appear in the upcoming feature film Thunderbolts, which follows the adventures of a group of supervillains from the MCU, and which will be released on July 24, 2024.

Anthony Mackie is back in the shoes of dear Sam Wilson, who needs no introduction, a member of the Avengers, better known as the Falcon. A loyal companion to Steve Rogers, an Air Force veteran, he inherits the title of Captain America after the latter’s retirement. A central figure in the MCU, the character has appeared in six films in the franchise and is one of the main characters in the Disney+ series Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021). He will be the first African-American Captain America to appear in a live-action movie.

Tim Blake Nelson will reprise his role as Dr. Samuel Stearns from The Incredible Hulk (2008). Samuel Stearns is a cell biologist who tried to cure Bruce Banner, but was later forced to help turn Emil Blonsky into an abomination. The process ended with a vial of Banner’s blood falling into a cut on Stearns’ head, which then began to grow.
