With the reserves, Sport wins the Central and closes the first phase of Pernambucano with an advantage

Having secured a place in the Copa do Nordeste final in mid-week, Sport finished the first stage of the Campeonato Pernambucano top. This Saturday, Leão took to the field with the reserves and beat Central 1-0 to secure the top of the table.

With the result, the team led by Enderson Moreira reached 30 points and finished the first stage in the lead. In this way the Rossoneri team guarantees the direct classification for the semi-final of the competition.

Sport entered the field with a reserve team, who endured grueling clashes to secure qualification for the Copa do Nordeste final in mid-week. The winning goal against Central was scored by defender Renzo.

Náutico and Santa Cruz advance to the second stage

While Sport qualified directly for the semi-final, Náutico and Santa Cruz progressed to the second stage of the competition with this Saturday’s results.

Timbu received Petrolina and won 1-0, with a goal from striker Júlio. The result moved the team to 25 points in third place.

Santa Cruz, on the other hand, entered the field with no chance of finishing in the top two, but played their part to qualify for the second stage. Away from home, the team beat Belo Jardim 3 to 1, advancing with 18 points to fifth place. The three winning goals were scored by top scorer Pipico. The home team discounted with striker Berg.
