Blue Fox Entertainment has acquired the US rights to StudioCanal Waiting for BojanglesA critically acclaimed French novel directed by director Roinsar and starring Romain Duris, Virgin Efira and Gregory Gaddafi.
The film opened in France in January and has grossed $4.4 million to date. Produced by StudioCanal, Curiosa Films and JPG Films, the film was produced by Olivier Del Bosque and Jean-Pierre Guerin. Blue Fox Entertainment will bring the film to the US and Canada later this summer with a limited/platform release.
Inside Waiting for BojanglesYoung Gary lives in a Parisian apartment with his eccentric parents and exotic birds. Every night, Gary’s parents Camille and George lovingly dance to their favorite song, “Mr. Bojanglesi”. Home is just a place for fun, imagination and friends. The acquisition followed the success of the large-scale theatrical release of StudioCanal Family Adventure by Blue Fox Entertainment. wolf and lion It debuted in the top 10 at the US box office in February, grossing over $2 million, making it one of the standout independent films of the year.
