Starz and Channel 4 have given the green light to the psychological thriller series and filming is already underway, with a cast that includes Eleanor Tomlinson (‘Poldark’), Alfred Enoch (the Harry Potter franchise) and Jessica De Gouw (‘Arrow’) as well as Sam Heughan himself.
The writer of ‘Marcella’, David Allisonhas written the scripts for ‘The Couple Next Door’, with dries you (‘Professor T’) directing the six episodes of the series. Based on the Dutch show ‘New Neighbors’, this series will tell the story of Evie and Pete (Tomlinson and Enoch), who move to an exclusive neighborhood and find friendship in the couple next door, traffic cop Danny (Heughan). and his wife, the glamorous yoga instructor Becka (De Gouw), but After Danny and Evie share a passionate night together, things get complicated…
The series has been described as “a psychological drama exploring claustrophobia stultification of the suburbs and the consequences of pursuing your darkest desires“. and still doesn’t have a release date set on the calendar.
The Scottish actor who gives life to Jamie Fraser will premiere the seventh season of ‘Outlander’ in 2023, the penultimate after confirming that the series will come to an end in season 8, and ‘Love Again’, where Heughan will receive advice from the very same Céline Dion to rediscover love.
