An unexpected success in 2012, David Charhon attracted more than two million spectators in theaters across the ring road. Between comedy and action, the film tells the story of two police officers who oppose everything in the murder case in Bobbin, a suburb of Paris. Ten years later, Omar Saeed and Laurent Lafitte return to work, but this time the adventure continues on Netflix.
In Far from the Periph, a sequel to the original film, the two actors return to their respective roles under the direction of Louis Letterier. The Frenchman, more accustomed to the big Hollywood shows, will shoot in his native country again after Lupine’s success, a series for which he directed the first three episodes.
His meeting Omar Si On the set, this new collaboration emerges, which, if we believe the first images of the trailer, promises unhindered action as the director knows how to do it. On-screen singer and actress Izia Higelin joins the duo as a young inspector.
The three heroes explore together from Paris and its ring road, in a small town in the heart of the Alps. What should have been a simple deal will turn out “Explosive criminal record, full of dangers and unexpected humor“.
