After the teasers on social media, the first trailer of Blue Beetle is between us! The video was officially released on Monday (03). The film with Xolo Maridueña and Bruna Marquezine ushers in a new phase for DC Comics at Warners.
History
In the plot of Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes is an ordinary teenager, who lives a quiet life in El Paso, USA. He is part of the working class and has a strong family connection.
When encountering an alien artifact resembling a beetle, the object fuses with its body and forms an exoskeleton. Thus was born the superhero Blue Beetle.
Unlike other hero films, in the storyline, Jaime’s family know his alter ego and the young man’s connection to the artifact. The DC film promises to offer, in addition to the action scenes, an innovative dynamic between the protagonist and his family, different from the one in which the hero must hide his identity to protect those he loves.
