9-1-1 firefighters returned to M6. The continuation of the adventures of Bob, Athena, Buck and others promises to be just as crazy and full of surprises.
In five seasons, we thought we’d seen it all, between an unprecedented earthquake, a devastating tsunami, or even lava in the middle of Los Angeles. But it would be wrong to know the screenwriters of the procedural series Angela Bassett, Peter Krause and Jennifer Love Hewitt, as Season 6 of 9-1-1, which starts on Tuesday 4th April at 9.10pm on M6, is set to open again. On a spectacular intervention.
In the first few minutes of the first episode, titled “Let the Game Begin,” viewers are indeed witnessing the scene of a real disaster, as only the series created by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story), Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear has a secret: a burning bush. To find out if Karen makes it out of this episode unscathed, which, in flashback, looks back on her meeting Han and the first months of their relationship, you’ll have to wait and watch the unreleased Season 6 of 9-1 closely. 1, of which M6 will offer two episodes every Tuesday evening.
On a more intimate level of the personal lives of the characters, this new season is also a real success.
For example, the third episode, “I’ll Never Forget You,” brilliantly and emotionally returns to the disappearance of Tanya Kingston. An unsolved case mentioned in Season 2 that haunted Athena as a child and drove her to become a police officer. And which, coincidentally, will be reopened during Bobby and Athena’s stay with their parents.
And beyond this episode featuring no other regular 9-1-1 characters, or Episode 6 focusing on Ken and Karen, this sixth season also has a lot of twists and turns for Bucky’s character, played by Oliver Stark.
The young firefighter will indeed receive an unexpected proposal that will turn his life upside down in the first part of the season. Until a terrible accident breaks the streak. By the way, it offers an episode with a very special concept, in which Buck imagines a world in which his life would be very different if an important event from his past had never happened.
