Will we be able to see our favorite characters with different faces?
Did you think ‘Harry Potter’ had come to an end? So far, you seemed to be right, of course. We wondered (not long ago) if there would be ‘Fantastic Animals 4’ or if the saga had died… Despite everything, It seems that all is not lost. However, the news that has arrived does not point precisely to the prequel saga headed by Eddie Redmayne.
As reported Bloomberg.com, Warner Bros. would be closing a deal for a new adaptation of JK Rowling’s youth novels, this time in series format for HBO Max. The adventures that we have already known, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, could be revisited and expanded. We tell you!
The new version of the british novels would focus on adapting each volume in one season. Thus adding a total of 7 batches of episodesin which we will accompany Harry, Ron and Hermione on their adventures (inside and outside the castle).
The serial format would allow delving into some events that had to be suppressed in the film version. Some of Rowling’s novels are over 500 pages long, so her stories were drastically cut. [Por ejemplo, la quinta novela, ‘Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix’, suma un total de 928 páginas en su edición de Salamandra.]
The sources that have informed Bloomberg.com They seem to be directly related to Warner Bros. According to what they said, this project would be part of a new content plan that the platform will announce next week. Nevertheless, the company has not confirmed the news yet.

Looking back, this doesn’t seem to come out of nowhere. David Zaslav, head of Warner Bros., stopped to stress the need to resume content about ‘Harry Potter‘, in the presentation of new company content, at the end of last year.
“Let’s focus on franchises. We haven’t had a ‘Superman’ movie in 13 years. We haven’t made a ‘Harry Potter’ movie in 15 years. If we can do something with JK, to keep ‘Harry Potter’ going… We will focus on franchises,” commented Zaslav.
If this adaptation is confirmed, we may be able to see Voldemort’s past on the screen, some stories from the first Order of the Phoenix, and many other details that were lost in the previous sieve.
The question is: Will we be able to see our favorite characters with different faces? Will we be able to live, again, some of the most special moments of the saga, starring a new Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, etc.? It will be left to wonder until I have new news…
