The working title of the series is ‘1932’
Paramount+ has announced that Oscar winner Helen Mirren and ‘Star Wars’ legend Harrison Ford to join upcoming ‘Yellowstone’ prequel ‘1932’ (current working title of the series), which will follow another generation of the Dutton family.
While not providing any character details, Paramount+ said, “The upcoming story will introduce a new generation of the Dutton family and explore the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression plague the mountainous westwhat the Duttons call home.”

The series will debut in December and is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions.
The announcement of the cast of Mirren and Ford comes just as production began on the fifth season of ‘Yellowstone’, starring Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes and Kelly Reilly.
Last December, the first ‘Yellowstone’ prequel, ‘1882‘, set a new record, becoming Paramount+’s most-watched series worldwide. It is starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

Earlier this year, it was announced another spin-off of ‘Yellowstone’ titled ‘6666’ which will focus on the Four Sixes ranch in West Texas.
The synopsis for ‘6666’ reads: “Founded when Comanches still ruled West Texas, no ranch in America is more steeped in western history than the 6666“.
“Still operating as it did two centuries before, and encompassing an entire county, 6666 is where the rule of law and the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing you do is your next step…”
“Ranch 6666 is synonymous with the ruthless effort to breed the best horses and cattle in the world and ultimately where world-class cowboys are born and raised.“.
