Online cinema KION continues to expand its catalog of Korean and Chinese dramas and detective stories. KION analysts analyzed the popularity of Asian series among subscribers from April 2022 to March 2023: the data showed that viewer interest has doubled over the past six months.
Therefore, from April 3, new projects will be available in the library: the detective “Mouse” with actor Lee Seung-gi, the action movie and the favorite of the Chinese awards “Mr. Right”, “Part of Your Mind”, “Rebel Princess”, “The Beginning”, “Only thirty”, “Stop Miss Hua”, “The Ideal of Love”, “The Only One You Haven’t Seen”, “When the Devil Calls Your Name”, “The Wife I Knew”, “Secret Royal Inspector and Cho-i”, “Outlaw Lawyer” and many others.
Since the early 2000s, Asian series have gradually taken over the world, and now the main players in the film business are working with Eastern film studios, realizing how much such content is in demand. Genre diversity (from action movies and detective stories to melodramas and children’s animation), high quality of the product, a clear understanding of the audience – this is why the cinema of South Korea, China and Japan is appreciated.
