‘At first I said no’: Why was Kimberlynn Brown (Sheila) almost never cast in Love, Glory and Beauty?

Currently in Love, Fame and Beauty on TF1, Sheila is at the heart of all the intrigue and all the shenanigans…remember that the diabolical heroine (played by Kimberlynn Brown, who confided in AlloCiné) has just committed an unthinkable crime!

Sheila, the villain of “Love, Fame and Beauty”.

When she wanted to silence Steffy (Jacqueline McInnes Wood) once and for all, Sheila accidentally shot and killed Finn (Tanner Nowlan), her own son! Maddened with rage and drunk with grief after this terrible mistake, the main stakeholder attacked the first target… and finally managed to strike in turn.

Fortunately, the daughter of Ridge (Torsten Kaye) and Taylor (Krista Allen) was treated by emergency services and escaped injury… but Steffy didn’t come out of the attack completely unscathed as she lost some of her memory!

Good for Sheila, who is thrilled that her villainy wasn’t revealed to the Logans and Forresters by her victim…but she also knows that Stef’s memories may surface and will try to kill her once again!

Architecture or comedy?

In Love, Fame and Beauty (in which the star becomes a Marvel superhero) in 1992 (after the first two years of The Young and the Restless), Kimberlynn Brown had no idea what the significance of her character was. Decades.. What’s more, the actor recently revealed to AlloCiné that he almost never plays a psychopath (inspired by a great cinematic villain)!

In our interview, the actor told us: “Before I got into The Young and the Restless, I auditioned for a role in the TV series, but they didn’t take me. After three years, I was called to play Shela for a month..”

At first I said no because I was going back to university to become an architectKimberlynn Brown recalls. I was told that this job would help me pay for my tuition and it was only for a short time. I finally agreed and left.” Without leaving, then!
