What is known about Dado Dolabella’s alleged assault on Marcela Tomaszewski

After an assault report, model Marcela Tomaszewski and actor Dado Dolabella ended their relationship that began in September. Marcela also denied having been attacked on Saturday 25th, but, after images of her injured circulated on social media, she went back and confirmed the episode of violence on Sunday 26th through her lawyer.

What happened?

Rumors that Dolabella and Marcela’s relationship had ended after an attack began circulating on social media this weekend.

The news that the couple had broken up was spread by journalist Matheus Baldi, from Gossipingand this was confirmed by the journalist Fábia Oliveira, from Metrópoles, on the afternoon of Saturday 25th, based on exclusive sources.

“The couple would have had an intense argument in the apartment where the model lives, in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. Sources close to them claim that, during the disagreement, Dado would have lost control, initially starting with verbal attacks which then would have evolved into physical violence”, wrote Matheus Baldi.

The journalist also reported that Marcela went to a police station, but decided not to formalize the assault complaint.

What did Marcella say?

Initially, the model had taken to social media on Saturday evening, the 25th, to deny rumors according to which she had ended her relationship with the actor after an alleged assault. “We are fine,” said Marcela, in a video recorded for her Instagram stories, together with Dado.

In another video shared on Instagram you can see Marcela with marks on her neck and a red hand. In the background a woman talks to Dolabella. “He deserved it,” says the actor, without making it clear who he was talking about. Marcela replies: “I must have deserved it too for asking you to put less salt in your food.” “Yes, that’s why,” Dolabella counters, in the background.

Then, on Sunday 26th, Marcela deleted the previous publication and shared a new video in which she said she no longer had “why come here (on social media) to say anything else”. “I’ve already said too much. I appreciate the good and beautiful messages I receive. And I have nothing to say about the negative ones. I just want peace.” In the same video the model asks journalists to look for her lawyer instead of sending her messages.

Marcela’s lawyer, Diego Cândido, shared a series of publications confirming Dolabella’s verbal and physical attacks.

Dado Dolabella published a note on his Instagram profile, signed together with Marcela.

“In light of recent publications on social media, we clarify that the video released without authorization and improperly – out of context – records an isolated moment of an already resolved dispute between the spouses.

Any interpretation outside the real context of what happened can generate distortions and injustices, compromising the understanding of the facts.

We reiterate that only we, directly involved, can talk about the episode, which has already been done exclusively before the competent authorities.

Both parties have cooperated with the authorities and trust that the facts will be properly investigated in a fair, responsible and transparent manner.

We reaffirm our rejection of all forms of violence and our commitment to respect, dialogue and truth.

At this moment we ask for serenity, empathy and respect for the privacy of all those involved, so that the truth prevails without hasty judgments.”

Who else is involved in the story?

The actress and Dolabella’s ex-girlfriend, Luana Piovani, used her social networks this Sunday, the 26th, to share videos and photos with alleged evidence of Dado Dolabella’s aggression against his girlfriend, Marcela Tomaszewki. The materials were published by Rafa Clemente, Marcela’s friend.

“Aggressor! There is no point in denying it, yes, there was an attack, Dado Dolabella you are a coward”, wrote Rafa Clemente sharing the video in which Marcela comments on the attack. The video, according to Rafa, was recorded after the attack.

Later, he shared images of bruises on Marcela’s hands, arms and chest. The content would have been sent by the model herself to Rafa, when he asked for help.

How were relations between the former couple?

The former couple enjoyed a trip to Chapada dos Veadeiros, in Alto Paraíso de Goiás, at the end of September. They also spent romantic evenings in Porto Alegre (RS), when Marcela appeared wearing the Miss Gramado 2025 sash over a pink dress.
