The player, heir to Gustavo Scarpa’s number 14 shirt, played as a starter for all 90 minutes. It is worth noting that coach Abel Ferreira spared the starting lineup for the second leg of the Paulistão final against Água Santa this Sunday (09). Artur will not participate in the state decision as he has not been entered in the competition.

– Great feeling after the restart, it wasn’t the best due to the defeat, but I’m very happy to be at Palmeiras. I am satisfied and I hope to give an answer to the Palmeiras fans. The main difficulty was the lack of air, we look for it and we can’t find it, but that’s it. Palmeiras is in trouble, now they have to rebuild and play a good game on Sunday and for the rest of the season – Artur told GE.

The striker’s contract with Verdão will run until December 2027 and will have the option to renew for another year. Palmeirenses will pay a total of 9 million euros (about R$50 million) to remove the athlete from Massa Bruta. The purchase was 90% of the economic rights, and the other 10% already belonged to the Alviverde club.

Palmeiras is back on the field this Sunday (08), at 16, against Água Santa for the second leg of the Paulistão final. Alviverde lost 2-1 in the first leg and now, at Allianz Parque, they are trying to overturn the result and secure their second state championship.
