In Mistral, Ariane fixes a client whose son is locked in the residence. He breaks free and tells her that the police are doing everything, which annoys Ariane. Later in the day, Ariane consults Leah, Riva’s surrogate, to discuss her voluntary termination of pregnancy. Ariane explains to the doctor that she did not have a medical abortion:At first I did not find the right moment, and then I hesitated. Now I realize it’s expired?– he asks Lea.
