In the next chapters of The Three Graces, Gerluce will finally discover Ferette’s rot and save Lígia’s life

Upon receiving the result which highlighted the absence of active ingredients in the patient’s blood Ligia, Gerluce he goes into shock. Notified by Viviana After intercourse, the assistant realizes that, despite daily use, the treatment has no effect – and the scene highlights the intimate drama of the Maria das Graças family. At home, Ligia admits frustration with treatment: “These medicines I’m taking don’t give any results. I know it!”.




Outraged, Gerluce he questions the absurdity of the situation and vows to investigate every step. When he asks for explanations, he says: “How is it possible that there is no trace of the medicine in my mother’s blood?”remembering to personally check the administration times every day. Anxiety turns to anger when he realizes that the drugs from the Social Pharmacy may have failed.

Promise and comparison

Without hesitation, the caregiver promises to ensure the correct treatment: “From today on you will no longer take these drugs from Farmácia Social. I will find a way to buy your drugs… Even if I have to rob a bank!” The speech leaves neighbors and relatives amazed, and Gerluce masks the emotion with an affectionate gesture: “I was dying to hug you”.

After, Viviana takes the report to the health center and opens the way to official suspicion: what if the problem was the drugs? As Dr. José Maria reflects, Gerluce decides not to back down: “We cannot let this go unnoticed. I will speak out and report the criminals”.
