Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker: Folie à Deux stars Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix
After approximately five months in production, Joker: Folie à Deux officially wrapped filming. Movie’s director, Todd Phillips was the one who made the announcement – and even took the opportunity to release the first official image of Lady Gaga as Harlequin.
In a post on social media, Phillips commented on the next stage of production on the sequel to the 2019 film, which yielded oscar in Best Actor for joaquin phoenix. “That’s it! It’s over! Thank you to these two (as well as the entire cast) and the BEST crew the film industry has to offer. Top to bottom. I’m going to crawl into a cave right now (editing room) and put it all together,” he wrote.

Oscar 2023 breaks ‘zica’ by Joker at the awards; understand
Since Warner Bros. took over the movies batman (Greenlawn Productions produced Batman – The Batman in 1966), all live-action films featuring the joker won a statuette oscar. However, that ended in 2023.
Nominated for three categories (Best sound, Best Visual Effects It is Best Makeup and Hairstyling), The Batman had a brief appearance of the character, played by Barry Keoghan in this new version, even though he was never mentioned as “joker” by some character.
In Best sound, The Batman lost to Top Gun: Maverick; Best Visual Effects went to Avatar: The Way of Water It is The whale won Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
