Never change a winning team. OCS on-demand platform, the historic broadcaster of The Walking Dead, announces the acquisition of the broadcast rights for the spin-off Dead City, which is expected next June.
This sequel to the horror series, set in New York, will see the return of two of the program’s iconic characters. Maggie and Negan will be the two heroes of Dead City, an unexpected duo whose association may spark sparks due to their hatred for each other.
OCS is the historical broadcaster of the Walking Dead, but also its Tales of the Walking Dead anthology. Its previous spin-offs were still broadcast in France on other platforms: Canal+ Series for Fear the Walking Dead and Amazon Prime Video’s The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
Remember that two other spin-offs from the series will soon see the light of day: Daryl Dixon with Norman Reedus, which was filmed in France (airing in 2023) and also the mini-series Rick & Michonne, which is expected next year. It is not yet confirmed if OCS will broadcast these two new series!
The spin-off series The Walking Dead: Dead City will air at least next June exclusively on the OCS on-demand platform!
