A few weeks ago, an update for the seventh season of Riverdale indicated that the end of the series had not yet come. However, the American channel The CW has finally revealed that this new season will finally be the last, thus announcing the last chapter in the adventures of Archie and Jaghead.
An adaptation of the Archie comics that are so popular in the Atlantic Ocean, Riverdale follows the adventures of a young teenager in a small American town. Originally conceived as a dark and realistic series, the program very quickly evolved into something more bizarre, through equally bizarre and unimaginable situations: musical episodes, grotesque coups, introducing supernatural elements, and so on.
In France, the series has been offered on Netflix since its debut, where it is still very popular with platform subscribers. There have also been a few spin-offs, though similar successes to the main series have not been achieved: Sabrina New Adventures (available for 2 seasons) or even Katie Keane (canceled at the end of the first season).
