Benoit tries to escape
At dawn, Lisa is filling her bag with food when Amelie joins her in the kitchen. When he tries to figure out what he’s doing, the cop makes him think he’s just putting groceries in the car that he forgot the day before.
Once Amelie is in the shower, Lisa fills her shopping bag and joins Benoit in her hideout. When he points the gun at her, she opens it to eat and drink. Exhausted, the SVT professor swears that he is not the Argentail monster. Only, Lisa doesn’t believe him and says she’s sure he changed the DNA tests to avoid suspicion. Although he insists that he is not a murderer, Lisa is convinced that he will eventually break before she can bring him back again.
As night falls, Victoire and Amelie wait for Lisa, who still hasn’t returned. An opportunity for a teenager to tell his cousin that his sister has been looking at him strangely lately. Not only is his phone always on voicemail, but he comes home late every night. To Victor, Lisa feels guilty for letting her parents’ killer go, and assures him that it will be much better once he’s behind bars.
At the same time, Benoit desperately tries to escape. After dropping the vase, he retrieves the glass shard to cut the ties.
Martin and Rafael argue
At the police station, Nathan is interrogated by the police and explains that he bought the phones through an advertisement posted on the Internet. However, he swears that he did not know the origin of the goods. After recognizing the seller in the composite portrait, the teenager, who went home to collect phones, gives the address to the policeman.
Without waiting, Sara and Karim go to the suspect’s house, but it is empty. Indeed, the young man spent time in the apartment to move the goods. For his part, Georges went through the port’s CCTV footage and obtained the van’s registration. However, the carjacking was reported a few days earlier. Martin then instructs Georges to send his report to all patrols.
Not far from there, Nathan is fired and back at work. Shortly after, Julie and Bruno come to see him to hear from him. For his part, Bruno believes that his son was particularly naive to believe such a statement. He even wonders how he didn’t end up in prison for such a stupid act.
Martin, on the other hand, is at Nordin’s bedside when Miriam arrives and apologizes to him for being angry the day before. In fact, Miriam especially needed a culprit to take the pressure off. As Martin feels guilty, Miriam confesses that she did not believe what he told her. Although he never wanted his son to do this, Nordin only felt useful in protecting others. As she begins to cry, Martin holds her and then swears that their son will be fine. Just then Raphael arrives. Seeing them, he promises to return later.
The van was later found burnt. With little hope of getting anything out of it, Commander Constant comes up with the idea of trapping the thieves.
At the hospital, Dr. Leclerc explains to Manon and Miriam that they will have to be patient. Even if Nordin shows no signs of waking up, the doctor is confident that he will be fine.
At the same time, Martin summons Nathan to the police station to act as bait for the police. While she hesitates, Commander Constant agrees to drop the charges against her to convince her. An offer that will not sit well with Rafael, who notes that the police cannot guarantee his safety. While Martin and Rafael begin to tear each other apart, Nathan asks for time to think.
At the exit of the police station, Martin meets Raffaele. When he points out that he has never seen him so stubborn, the lawyer replies that he has never seen him use such methods. He then points out to her that Nathan is a high school student, not a police officer. Convinced that he is acting this way because he was holding another woman a few hours earlier, Martin explains that this is Nordin’s mother and she just needed support. Only Raphael doesn’t care, specifying that he shouldn’t let his anger change his judgment.
Jack and Ryan kiss
Before class, Jack and Ryan go to the point court. As he is about to tell her that his sight is back, Russell’s son spits and changes the subject.
Back in high school, Liz finds out that her brother keeps making his classmates think he’s blind because he couldn’t tell Ryan about it. In his defense, the teenager claims that he is afraid that something will change between them. Despite everything, Liz advises him to tell the truth, because the change in his situation will quickly become known.
Not far from there, Ryan learns while talking to Jordan that Jack has regained his sight. A blow to a teenager trying to look good.
Angry, Ryan joins his mother at the spoon and tells her that Jack has been lying to him for days. If she thinks that her friend took her for a fool, Romy, on the other hand, believes that if Jack cheated on her, it was because she was afraid that she would not be able to spend as much time with him anymore. According to her, Jack is in love with her and it’s mutual.
In the evening, Ryan arranges a meeting with Jack at the skate park and confronts him about his lie. Jack replies that he wanted to tell her everything this morning, but he couldn’t. Although Ryan points out that he will have to go back to his old life, Jack suggests that they continue to spend time together. Immediately Ryan replies that he is not going to give up because he can see again. As they stare into each other’s eyes, Ryan slowly approaches and finally kisses her.
