Avatar 3: Photos of Pandora’s Unseen Landscapes Revealed

Following the international triumph of Avatar: The Way of the Water, which earned $2.3 billion worldwide, Episode 3 is expected on December 18, 2024.

If Avatar 2 introduced us to fabulous waterscapes after the lush forest of the first opus, the 3rd film should take us to the heights of Pandora.

With The Way of the Water released on VOD in the United States, viewers could discover exclusive bonus features. This shows concept art of the next locations we’ll be visiting in the sequel.

Thus, in Avatar 3, the Ash People will be revealed: it will be the Na’vi ethnic group, which is not really benevolent, unlike the Metkaina and Omatikaia that we already know. They will be the villains of this new adventure. It was actress Oona Chaplin who was chosen to portray the leader of this volcanic tribe.

The least we can say is that these landscapes will be much less heavenly than the first two films, which will be enough to add interest to the saga. Also, the antagonistic Na’vi people are a great idea on paper.

Like Dune, Avatar 3 also takes us to the desert regions of Pandora, introducing another local tribe, the Windtraders. These Na’vi live as nomads on the dry lands of Pandora.

And it’s not over! James Cameron has a lot of ideas and is going to offer us some other great landscapes of Pandora still unknown in the hatches. In episode 5, we also have snowy mountains waiting for us before returning to Earth.

We remind you that Avatar 3 will be released in theaters on December 18, 2024. Part 4 is scheduled for December 16, 2026, and episode 5 is scheduled for December 20, 2028.
